Pakistan Pledges Technical Support to Kazakhstan in Sports and Tourism Cooperation

In a highprofile meeting held in Islamabad, Federal Minister for InterProvincial Coordination Rana Sanaullah Khan announced today that Pakistan’s commitment to bolstering its relationship with Kazakhstan through technical support in sports disciplines such as hockey, squash, and snooker.

The meeting, attended by Kazakhstan’s Deputy Minister of Tourism and Sports, Mr. Yerzhan Yerkinbayev, and President of CCI, Mr. Kanat Alin, focused on enhancing bilateral ties and fostering collaboration in sports and tourism.

Minister Rana Sanaullah highlighted the enduring fraternal bonds between Pakistan and Kazakhstan and expressed a strong desire to deepen these ties through practical collaboration. The discussions underscored the importance of women’s participation in sports, with plans for joint initiatives aimed at promoting gender inclusion. The minister emphasized that sports exchange programs will be instrumental in engaging youth from both countries in positive and enriching activities.

The meeting resulted in a consensus to develop institutional partnerships between sports organizations, which will include coach and expert exchanges, joint training workshops, and organizing bilateral competitions.

The initiative reflects Pakistan’s dedication to advancing cooperation with Kazakhstan in sports and youth development, which is expected to solidify bilateral relations and nurture emerging talent from both nations.
