Pakistan today forcefully dismissed what it described as highly inflammatory, baseless and irresponsible assertions by the Indian External Affairs Minister, stressing that the country’s institutions – including its armed forces – remain fully committed to safeguarding national sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Foreign Office Spokesperson Tahir Andrabi underscored that the May 2025 conflict clearly reflected the professionalism and unwavering resolve of Pakistan’s armed forces to repel any aggression from India in a firm yet responsible manner.

He denounced the Indian leadership’s attempts to malign Pakistan’s state organs and leadership, characterizing them as part of a broader propaganda campaign aimed at diverting global attention from New Delhi’s destabilizing activities in the region and beyond, as well as its alleged State-sponsored terrorism inside Pakistan.

The spokesperson urged India to confront the rise of what he described as fascist and revisionist Hindutva ideology, which has fuelled mob violence, lynchings, arbitrary detentions and the demolition of homes and places of worship.

Reaffirming Islamabad’s commitment to coexistence, dialogue and diplomacy, he emphasized that the nation remains united and determined in its capacity to protect its interests and sovereignty.
