According to a report by the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, the Pakistani Rupee depreciated significantly against major international currencies on July 7, 2025. The national currency weakened against the US dollar, starting at 285.50 rupees and closing at 286.64 rupees.

The Euro also advanced against the Rupee, rising from 335.29 rupees to 337.64 rupees. The British Pound mirrored this upward trajectory, closing at 390.77 rupees after an initial value of 388.45 rupees.

The Japanese Yen saw a slight increase against the Pakistani currency, moving from 1.93 rupees to 1.98 rupees. Similarly, the UAE Dirham increased from 77.68 rupees to 78.10 rupees. The Saudi Riyal also showed strength, closing at 76.40 rupees compared to its starting point of 75.98 rupees.

The interbank exchange rate saw a marginal increase, closing at 284.41 rupees against the US dollar, compared to the opening rate of 284.21 rupees.
