Karachi:A large number of pensioners of Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL) are not getting their monthly pensions for last three months and their families suffering unnecessarily due to negligence of bureaucracy.
Sources said that at least 55 pensioners of the PAL are running from pillar to post to get their pension. They said their pensions have been stopped for last three months. They said they were not given pension even on the occasion of the Eid.
These hapless pensioners have requested the Prime Minister Imran Khan to take notice of this serious issue on humanitarian grounds and order release of monthly pensions of these 55 retired employees.
