Karachi Administrator Murtaza Wahab Siddiqui stressed the vital role of parks and green spaces in the city, terming them essential for a healthy lifestyle.
In a post on formerly Twitter, now X, Siddiqui said well-being requires more than just skyscrapers and fitness centers. He advocated for more green spaces, highlighting the necessity of oxygen.
He informed that the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) has transformed a previously neglected area filled with garbage and debris into an attractive park. Indigenous plants have also been planted there.
Siddiqui appealed to citizens to actively participate in the tree planting campaign to foster a healthy and environmentally friendly future for Karachi.
