The two chambers of Pakistan’s Parliament are scheduled to convene today for separate sittings, with significant matters of both national and international concern on the agenda for deliberation.
The proceedings will take place at the Parliament House in the nation’s capital. The Senate, the Upper House of the legislature, is set to begin its session at three in the afternoon.
Following this, the National Assembly, referred to as the Lower House, will hold its gathering at five in the evening.
In addition to discussions on key domestic and worldwide issues, both legislative bodies are also expected to transact legislative business during their respective meetings.
