Partly cloudy weather, rain-thunderstorm forecast for Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Punjab

The Meteorological Department has predicted unstable weather in several areas of the country, with a chance of rain accompanied by wind and thunderstorms.

The forecast issued on Tuesday specifically identifies a few places in Balochistan, lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and southern Punjab that may be affected by rain under partly cloudy skies.

In contrast, cold and dry weather is expected to continue in other parts of the country.

According to the temperatures recorded on Tuesday morning, significant differences were observed in major urban centers. Karachi was the warmest at twenty degrees Celsius, while Lahore recorded fourteen degrees.

The temperature in the federal capital, Islamabad, was recorded at ten degrees Celsius, while it was eleven degrees in Peshawar.

The lowest temperatures were recorded in Quetta and the tourist destination Murree, where the mercury stood at five degrees Celsius, while both Gilgit and Muzaffarabad had morning temperatures of nine degrees Celsius.
