Lahore, November 11, 2021 (PPI-OT):Pakistan-China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI) has arranged collaboration with China-Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) through its local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Zone, which is established in Qingdao to strengthen the coexistence and prosperity of neighbouring nations. It was stated by Mr. Wang Zihai, President PCJCCI, in his online address at the first match making session under this collaboration held today at PCJCCI premises. The meeting was attended by Mr. Ehsan Chaudhry, SVP, Mr. Sarfraz Butt, VP, Mr. Salahuddin Hanif, Secretary General and executive committee members of PCJCCI.
Mr. Wang Zihai, President PCJCCI said that, this initiative will definitely accelerate the construction of the Shinghai Cooperation Organization Development Authority (SCODA) and will promote the exchanges and cooperation between China and Pakistan in economic, trade and industrial development. He further added that it will help in building a dynamic platform carrier to maintain good communication channels online as well as on ground.
He added that The China-SCO local economic cooperation demonstration zone will run the fund in collaboration with Sino-Russian Energy Investment Private Equity Fund Management (Qingdao) Co Ltd. At the forum, it also signed agreements with Kazakhstan’s Astana International Financial Centre, CICC Capital, Pakistan and other domestic and overseas capital management organizations to launch cooperation in promoting cross-border capital flows.
Mr. Ehsan Choudhry, Senior Vice President PCJCCI said while addressing the meeting that being an entrepreneur I always stressed to provide maximum opportunities to the young generation. Through SCODA we can facilitate and aware the youth of our country which will definitely help them in achieving their goals through combating cultural and other social barriers between the two nations.
Mr. Salahuddin Hanif, Secretary General PCJCCI said that the first match-making session was arranged with Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the platform of SCODA, which was very fruitful, as the PCJCCI played effective role as a bridge. He observed that the match making would be highly useful to provide facilities to SMEs and cottage industry at massive scale.
