Srinagar, August 31, 2020 (PPI-OT): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, people took to the streets in protest against the killing of an aged women who was deliberately hit by an Indian police vehicle in Kulgam district. The woman was crushed to death by a police bunker vehicle in Kawaki Bazar area of Kulgam district. The woman died on spot sparking massive protests.
The protesters kept the body of the slain woman on road and raised pro-freedom and anti-India slogans. They demanded stringent punishment to the personnel involved in the incident including driver of the vehicle. The protesters blocked the road disrupting the movement of vehicles for hours. Meanwhile, Indian troops launched a massive cordon and search operation in Wanigam Pattan area of Baramulla district.
