PM, Saudi King discuss regional peace, IOK situation

Riyadh, October 16, 2019 (PPI-OT): Prime Minister Imran Khan and Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at a meeting in Riyadh have discussed bilateral relations, peace and security in the region and international political situation.
The two leaders also discussed the ways and means to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.

Prime Minister Khan, who reached Saudi Arabia as part of his initiative on peace and security in the region, on the occasion stressed on the need of resolving differences and conflicts through political and diplomatic means for sake of peace and stability in the region.

He also briefed the Saudi King about the latest situation in the Indian Occupied Kashmir. Imran Khan also stressed the need for resolving differences and conflicts through political and diplomatic means for the sake of peace and stability in the region. Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Special Assistant for Overseas Pakistanis Syed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari and senior officials were also present during the meeting.

Earlier, upon arrival in Riyadh on a day-long visit to Saudi Arabia, Prime Minister Imran Khan was received and welcomed by Governor Riyadh Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Minister of State and National Security Advisor Dr Musaad bin Mohammed Al Aiban at Royal terminal of the King Khalid Airport Riyadh.
