PMD Forecasts Isolated Rainfall Across Several Regions

Pakistan is expected to experience predominantly hot and humid weather on Tuesday, although isolated rainfall is forecast in several parts of the country, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said on Monday.

The weather office said Islamabad would remain hot and humid, while scattered showers are likely in Rawalpindi, Murree, Galiyat, Chakwal, Jhelum, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sheikhupura and Sialkot. Rain is also expected at isolated locations in Bhakkar, Layyah, Mianwali, Bahawalnagar, Dera Ghazi Khan and Multan.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, most districts are forecast to experience hot and humid conditions. However, isolated rainfall is likely in Chitral, Swat, Battagram, Mansehra and Abbottabad.

Sindh is also expected to remain hot and humid across most districts, with chances of rain in Tharparkar, Umerkot, Mithi, Sukkur and Jacobabad. Karachi is likely to witness partly cloudy skies, with the possibility of showers.

In Balochistan, hot weather is expected to prevail across most areas, although isolated rain has been forecast in Zhob, Musakhel, Kalat, Sherani, Kohlu and Khuzdar, according to the PMD.
