PML-N central leader and Federal Minister Kheal Das Kohistani has assured the family of the slain minority youth Kailash Kohli, following the arrest of a local landlord, that the PML-N stands with the minority community, and injustice against the minority community will not be tolerated.
PML-N central leader, Federal Minister Kheal Das Kohistani met the family of the deceased in Daho Kohli village on Sunday to express solidarity. He stressed that injustice against minority communities would not be tolerated and confirmed that his party would provide all possible financial assistance to the bereaved family.
Minister Kohistani identified the arrested suspect as landlord Sarfaraz Nizamani and reiterated the government’s commitment to the minority community.
Meanwhile, Senator Krishna Kumari credited the Sindh government’s intervention for the swift arrest of the alleged killer, stating that he would be severely punished according to the law. She said the minority community has always voted for the Pakistan Peoples Party, and their protection is the government’s responsibility.
The Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Sindh, Advocate Veerji Kohli, also assured the heirs of the deceased farmer of comprehensive financial and legal assistance from the provincial administration. He announced that legislation is being planned to provide full protection to farmers and prevent such incidents.
The gathering was also attended by PPP Minority Wing Badin district leader Sunil Kumar, journalists, and other local individuals.
