KARACHI: Excise Police South Karachi’s Assistant Excise and Taxation Officer SM Sadeqain along with his team claimed to have recovered seven kilograms of hashish from rickshaw No. D-1716475 near city Railway Station II Chundrigar road and arresting one accused Obaid Khan on Friday.
A case has been registered against the accused and an investigation started. The rickshaw used in the incident has also been seized.
In a statement, Provincial Minister for Excise and Taxation and Narcotics Control Department and Parliamentary Affairs Mukesh Kumar Chawla has congratulated Excise Police South Karachi on the successful operation.
He also directed the officers that action should be taken against drug dealers at all levels and no concessions should be given against those involved in drug peddling.
