KARACHI:Karachi police on Saturday claimed to have arrested three accused involved in drug peddling and notorious crimes.
According to the police sources, a team of Sukhan police station, conducted a raid in Sukhan area and arrested three accused identified as Aatish, who is key accused for drug peddling, Abdulah and Iqbal.
The police claimed to have recovered a pistol and a repeater with ammunition from their possession.
They also claimed to have seized more than one kilogram of fine quality hashish from them. The arrested suspects are professional criminals and have been arrested and jailed several times, said the police.
The arrested drug dealer accused Atash alias Bam was selling drugs in different areas of Malir district, according to the police
The police have registered a case against accused and started further investigation. Weapons recovered from accused Abdullah and Iqbal have been sent for forensics.
