An armed encounter between law enforcement agencies and suspected criminals in the Majeed Colony area has resulted in the arrest of one assailant in an injured state, while a second individual escaped.
The exchange of fire occurred in Sector 2 of Quaidabad, within the jurisdiction of Malir district. During the encounter, officials apprehended one suspect, Shakirullah son of Muhammad Haleeb.
His accomplice managed to evade capture and fled the scene. Authorities have initiated a search for the escaped individual.
A pistol with bullets, a mobile phone, and cash were recovered from the possession of the arrested suspect. These items have been seized by the police as evidence.
Shakirullah has been moved to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries sustained during the incident. The Quaidabad Police Station has registered a case and launched a further investigation into the matter.
