A police officer was injured during a robbery in Karachi’s Manzoor Colony.
Police officer Malik Zaheer Awan was targeted while preparing to go on duty. As he approached his motorcycle, three armed suspects on two motorcycles attacked him.
The criminals tried to snatch Officer Awan’s motorcycle, but when their attempts failed, they opened fire on him, snatched his official weapon, and fled.
Fellow officers immediately arrived at the scene and shifted the injured policeman to Jinnah Hospital. Doctors have declared his condition stable.
SSP East Dr. Farooq Raza visited the hospital to inquire about the health of the injured officer and took notice of the incident.
