In a commitment to honour its long-serving personnel, the Islamabad Police today pledged their continued support to a Naib Qasid who retired after nearly 40 years of service, with a senior official stating it is now “the department”s turn to serve him.”
Muhammad Sharif, a Naib Qasid, was celebrated for his tireless and valuable contributions in a dignified farewell ceremony held at the Central Police Office upon the completion of his service.
Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of Investigations, Syed Inayat Ali Shah, presided over the event as the chief guest, appreciating the decades of dedication rendered by the retiring official in the presence of other police officers.

He further remarked that Mr Sharif had devoted a significant portion of his life to public service through the police, and in return, the department had provided him with respect, dignity, and status, for which he should be grateful.
AIG Shah encouraged all personnel to commit themselves to serving the public to their fullest capacity during their tenure in order to attain the pleasure of Almighty Allah.
He made a personal assurance to the retiree, stating that his office doors would always remain open should Mr Sharif encounter any private or official difficulties in the future.
