Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif met with Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan today, where they meticulously reviewed public issues and the progress of ongoing development projects. The Chief Minister later reaffirmed her strong commitment to accelerating the provision of basic facilities and expediting provincial development.
During their conversation, the Chief Minister offered her heartfelt condolences to the Speaker on the recent demise of his sister and also prayed for the deceased.
Speaker Khan appreciated several important initiatives on this occasion, particularly commending the province’s expanding public transport projects and the “Apna Khet, Apni Rozgar” (Own Farm, Own Employment) program designed to empower local agriculture.
The Clean Punjab Program was also highlighted, which was described as a highly effective model for waste disposal and environmental management in the area.
