Power load shedding, water shortage hits Quetta

QUETTA: Moulana Abdul Rehman Rafique, Ameer, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Fazl), district Quetta, has said JUI-F, which is a political as well as a religious party, considers it as its duty to highlight the issues of Quetta”.

Addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club here on Monday, he said that despite availability of government machinery and other resources, non-provision of pure drinking water to the city had haunted residents of the area with difficulties, adding that low gas pressure and load shedding of electricity had added to the miseries of the people.

He said that seven-day-training program under the aegis of JUI-F would be arranged. He said that the occurring of crimes in the city was a question mark on the performance of government, adding that young generation was deliberately being lured towards obscenity and drugs. He added, “JUI-F is striving to keep young generation aloof from obscenity and drugs.”
