PPP public gathering on 18th October, a terminus a quo against the selected Niazi government: Saeed Ghani

Karachi, October 12, 2019 (PPI-OT): Sindh Minister for Information and Archives and Labour Saeed Ghani has said that the public meeting scheduled for Friday the 18th of October 2019 would be the beginning of protest movement against the incumbent regime of Imran Khan. Saeed Ghani said that this movement would continue till the exit of Imran Niazi from the Prime Minister House. The Minister said that every segment of the society including the people belonging to lower and middle class as well as industrialists and traders were tired of the government in office. Saeed Ghani said this while addressing the general body meeting of Pakistan People’s Party Karachi division held at People’s Secretariat and later talking to the journalists on Saturday.

The Minister said that the workers of Pakistan People’s Party Karachi division had begun the preparation for the forthcoming public meeting of the party on 18th October. He said that today’s meeting of the PPP Karachi Division’s general body held to finalize the arrangements for this public gathering. Provincial Minister for Information said that on the directives of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Pakistan People’s Party was going to organize a historical public gathering on Friday the 18th of October 2019 against the selected regime of Imran Niazi. The Minister said that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would also address this public gathering which would be organized in front of the Quaid’s mausoleum. He said that this movement would kick off the movement against the incumbent selected government.

Saeed Ghani said that the federal government of PTI had given nothing to the masses except for inflation and unemployment. On the other hand it had also left the economy crippling, he added. The Minister said that member of every segment of the society was cursing the incumbent government of Imran Niazi. Addressing the general body meeting general secretary of PPP Karachi division Javed Nagori said that it was the day of 18 October 2007 when Shaheed Benazir Bhutto returned to serve her homeland despite facing serious threats.

The gloomy attack of 18th October 2007 proved that the threats the Shaheed Bibi was facing, he added. He said that the coward enemy didn’t want her to come back and serve the masses. Javed Nagori said that everyone in the country including every single member and worker of PPP was fortunate enough that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto was following the footsteps of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto. He said that all of us should strongly support PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in his struggle to make the country a better place to live.

The general body meeting of PPP Karachi division also decided to issue and distribute handbills and pamphlets to create awareness amongst the masses about the failed economic and foreign policies of Imran Niazi’s selected government. It also decided that the representatives of the party would hold public gathering in their respective constituencies. The general body meeting decided that a reception camp would be established at the roundabout near the Quaid’s mausoleum.

The sub-committees had already started finalizing their respective tasks assigned to make the public gathering a success, the meeting was informed. PPP Parliamentarians including Shahla Raza, Nadeem Bhutto, Murtaza Baloch, Agha Rafiullah, Liaquat Askani, Sajid Jokhio, Zafar Siddiqui, Iqbal Sand, Zulfiqar Qaimkhani, Asif Khan, Zafar Iqbal, Lala Rahim, Naveed Bhati, Ali Ahmed, Karamullah Waqasi, Abdul Razzaq, Javed Shaikh, Aslam Samon, Khalil Hot, Shahna Sher Ali, Shahna Saeeda, Shakeel Chaudhry and all the representatives of PPP of the city areas attended the general body meeting.
