ISLAMABAD: President of Arab Parliament Adel Abdul Rahman has acknowledged Pakistan’s stance on Palestine and Kashmir issues.
Talking to Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Religious Harmony Maulana Tahir Ashrafi here on Tuesday, he said Pakistan has played a proactive role on Afghanistan issue. The President of Arab Parliament said all stakeholders should come forward and play role for lasting peace in the region and resolve the Afghan crisis.
Adel Abdul Rahman said we acknowledge Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani’s proposal to introduce inter-parliamentary coordination to understand the issues and find solutions to the problems. The Arab Parliament President said we share a common vision of peace, prosperity and development for the region and the world at large.
Maulana Tahir Ashrafi said Pakistan believes in peace and prosperity for collective good of the Ummah. He said Pakistan will always be a partner in peace, not conflict. He said Pakistan believes that disputes and differences can be sorted out through dialogue and that war is not an option.
