Prime Minister Intervenes in ICC-Bangladesh T20 World Cup Matter, All Options on the Table

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif today intervened in an unfolding issue between the International Cricket Council (ICC) and the Bangladesh Cricket Board concerning the T-20 World Cup, instructing that the matter be resolved while keeping “all options on the table.”

The directive came after Interior Minister and Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, called on the Prime Minister in Islamabad today to provide a detailed briefing on the recent developments.

In a subsequent post on the social media platform X, Mr Naqvi confirmed the premier”s instructions regarding the ongoing situation.

It was mutually agreed during the high-level discussion that a final decision on the course of action will be taken either on the forthcoming Friday or by next Monday.
