Islamabad, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif is set to visit the Islamic Republic of Iran today to express condolences for the recent deaths of Iranian President Dr. Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian, who died in a helicopter crash. The visit aims to reinforce the diplomatic ties between Pakistan and Iran and to express Pakistan’s solidarity in this time of national mourning.

According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during his visit, Prime Minister Sharif will meet with Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Imam Khamenei, and Acting President Dr. Mohammad Mokhber to convey the condolences of the Pakistani government and people. He will be accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister and other senior cabinet ministers, emphasizing the significance of the visit in strengthening bilateral relations and support.
