Islamabad, August 04, 2022 (PPI-OT):Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reiterated the coalition government’s resolve to take the verdict of Election commission of Pakistan in PTI Foreign Funding case to its logical conclusion. In a series of tweets on Thursday night, he said Imran Niazi used all means, including nine petitions in Islamabad High Court and over 50 adjournments, to delay the judgment for eight years. He said Imran Khan, wilfully and knowingly, submitted false affidavits for five years, which vindicates government’s claim that PTI is a foreign-aided party without any shadow of doubt.
The Prime Minister expressed regret that over the decades, Imran Niazi deceived the people in the name of honesty, transparency and accountability. Shehbaz Sharif said the foreign funding verdict has busted his claims and showed him for what he actually is.
