Prince Rahim Al-Husseini, the spiritual leader of the Ismaili community and the 50th Imam, has announced a donation of $45 million to alleviate food shortages in various parts of the world. This announcement was made during the ‘Nutrition for Growth Summit’ held in Paris, where Prince Rahim participated alongside the President of France and other global leaders.

In the conference, Prince Rahim Aga Khan emphasized solving food insecurity as a priority for human and economic development and announced aid from the Aga Khan Development Network to achieve this goal.

The Aga Khan Development Network and the Ismaili Imamat are dedicated to reducing poverty in various developing countries worldwide. Previously, Prince Rahim Aga Khan had also announced financial aid for the country of Syria.
