Amid clear directives from the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to ensure all vacant positions are filled, newly promoted officers in the capital have been formally reminded of the heightened responsibilities that accompany their new ranks during a special ceremony.
According to a report by the Islamabad police today, the distinguished rank pinning event was conducted at the DIG Islamabad office to honor the recently elevated officials for their exemplary service and commitment.
The ceremony was attended by DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq as the chief guest, alongside the SP Saddar Zone.
In his address to the gathering, DIG Tariq emphasized that the well-deserved promotions are a testament to the officers” hard work and unwavering efforts. He highlighted the increased accountability and trust placed upon them with their elevation.
He also conveyed the explicit instructions issued by IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, which mandate that promotions continue to be granted until all vacant posts within the force are occupied.
The DIG encouraged the personnel to fulfill their duties with the utmost dedication, urging them to uphold the reputation of their department and consistently strive for the betterment of the police force.
