Provincial Minister of Auqaf, Ushr Zakat, and Religious Affairs, Syed Riaz Hussain Shah Shirazi today assured to address the concerns of employees and residents affected by the issues of Keenjhar Lake, which is an important economic center and tourist destination in Sindh. Shirazi emphasized that the Sindh government is committed to resolving employment-related issues and securing local employment.
Keenjhar Lake, which attracts visitors nationwide, plays a significant role in the local economy, where many residents rely on tourism for their income. Shirazi recognized the importance of protecting the interests of those living in the area and assured that measures would be taken to alleviate their challenges.
The minister promised to bring complaints and employment issues, including legal cases against locals, to the attention of the Sindh Chief Minister. He expressed his intention to facilitate negotiations with the provincial government so that the legitimate demands of the people could be met, thereby securing their economic opportunities.
