Karachi, January 04, 2018 (PPI-OT):Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority PSQCA has started crackdown against sub-standard products in Pakistan in recent visits in Rural Sindh and Balochistan by testing through Mobile Testing Laboratory with aim to provide the quality products to the consumers different cities were visited by the team specially (Hub, Rohri, Sukkur, Hyderabad and Karachi. The team has focused on food products. Total 104 samples were tested on spot out of which 10 found non-conforming as per relevant Pakistan Standards.
10 licenses of non-conforming brands of Banaspati and Cooking Oil are suspended including R.B Oil Industries (Pvt.) Ltd. Khajur Cooking Oil, Resham Banaspati, A.B Oil Industries (Pvt.) Ltd., Absa Cooking Oil, Absa Banaspati, Faisalabad Oil Refinery (Pvt.) Ltd., Port Qasim Kisan Banaspati, Kisan Canola Oil, M.M Ghee and Oil Mills (Pvt.) Ltd., Andaz Cooking Oil, Moulvi Cooking Oil, Indus Oil and Ghee Mills Super Supreme Banaspati, Rima Cooking Oil Rima Banaspati Beside this 26 illegal non licensed and sub standards bottled drinking water factories of Bottled Drinking Water were also seized including Naafey Pure Water Naafey Bottled Drinking Water, The Aqua Water Aqua water Bottled Drinking Water, Amaya Water Amaya Bottled Drinking Water, RO Plant, RO Plant Bottled Drinking Water, MITS Pure Drinking Water MITS Bottled Drinking Water, Al Hada Al Hada Bottled Drinking Water, Al-Mewat Safe Water Safe Life, Al-Mewat Safe Water Safe Life Bottled Drinking Water, Aqua Sara Pure Drinking Water, Aqua Sara Pure Drinking Water Bottled Drinking Water, Pee Jee Beverage, Mirpurkhas Nemah Pure and Pure Drinking Water Bottled Drinking Water, Shah Ikram Traders, Mirpur, Waterle Pure as Crystal Bottled Drinking Water, Bismillah Mineral Water Ren Bottled Drinking Water, Aqua Pura Aqua Pura Bottled Drinking Water, Primo Water Primo Bottled Drinking Water, F.T.
