Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has announced a robust 22% year-on-year revenue growth in Q1 2025, reinforcing its status as the country’s premier integrated telecom service provider. This growth was outlined during a Board of Directors meeting held in Islamabad.
The PTCL Group’s revenue reached Rs 61.8 billion, driven by strong performances in consumer segments such as fixed broadband and mobile data. Enterprise and carrier wholesale services also made significant contributions to this growth.
Highlighting the financials, PTCL’s revenue increased by 14% to Rs. 29.6 billion, with Flash Fiber and Business Solutions witnessing substantial growth. The Enterprise Business and Carrier and Wholesale segments both showed impressive gains, with 23% and 24% growth respectively. Additionally, the international segment saw an 8% revenue increase.
Operating profit for PTCL was reported at Rs 4.1 billion, marking a 40% rise from the previous year, while net profit reached Rs 1.2 billion. PTML, known for its Ufone 4G services, recorded a 21% revenue growth, boosting its operating profit by 11% compared to the last quarter of 2024.
UBank, part of the PTCL Group, experienced a remarkable 77% increase in revenue, reflecting the group’s continued upward trajectory in diverse market segments.
