QUETTA: Muhammad Asif Tareen, provincial leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), on Thursday called on authorities to provide compensation to the affectees of Pushtoonabad blaze which had reduced hundreds of shops to ashes on the first day of Eid-ul-Fitr besides conducting an inquiry as to what caused the eruption of fire in two clothes markets at Taru Chowk, Pushtoonabad area of Quetta city.
In a statement, Tareen said hundreds of clothes’ shops were burnt after intense fire erupted in two clothes markets at Taru chowk, Pushtoonabad area in Quetta. He said that it needed to be probed as to what caused the fire besides compensating affectees of the fire.
It is pertinent to mention that the hundreds of shops were burnt after intense fire erupted in two clothes markets at Taru Chowk area of Pushtoonabad on the first day of Eid. Taking notice of the incident, Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo directed Deputy Commissioner, Quetta to get the damages of the incident assessed so that the affectees of the fire could accordingly be compensated.
