Lahore, January 05, 2018 (PPI-OT):Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif went to the residence of Afzal Khokhar MNA and Saiful Malook Khokhar MPA at Johar Town. The Chief Minister expressed deep sense of sorrow and grief over the killing of Malik Imran Shafi Khokhar, nephew of Afzal Khokhar and Saiful Malook Khokhar. He expressed heartfelt sympathies and condolences with the bereaved family and offered Fateha for the departed soul. The Chief Minister said that firing incident in the marriage ceremony is highly deplorable.
He said that he has taken immediate notice of the incident and ordered to initiate action in accordance with the law. He assured that the accused involved in this incident will not go scot free. The Chief Minister directed the CCPO to early arrest the accused involved in the firing and he should also be kept abreast of the progress in this case regularly. He also inquired about the details of the firing incident and assured the bereaved family of provision of justice. CCPO Lahore, DIG Operations and concerned officers were present on the occasion.
