The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) is set to host a distribution ceremony on 26th February for the Prime Minister’s Youth Laptop Scheme 2026, with Punjab’s Education Minister, Mr Rana Sikandar Hayat, scheduled to attend as the chief guest.
In preparation for the event, a high-level meeting was convened at the institution to finalise the arrangements today. The session was chaired by the university’s Vice-Chancellor, Meritorious Prof Dr Muhammad Younus.
During the proceedings, conveners from various management committees provided a comprehensive briefing to the Vice-Chancellor on the progress of their respective tasks, ensuring all logistical aspects of the ceremony are in place.
The function, which marks Phase-4 of the nationwide governmental initiative, will take place at the university”s City Campus.
