Punjab to digitize record of children who missed polio drops

The Punjab government has decided to fully digitize the records of children who have not received polio drops for the first time.

The Health Minister of Punjab, Khawaja Imran Nazir, said today that under this initiative, the record of each child will be available at a computerized level. A pilot project will be launched in Lahore with the aim of creating a digital record of children under the age of 5.

The Health Minister further mentioned that there has been an increase in the number of polio virus cases in Pakistan over the past year. In light of this situation, the Chief Minister of Punjab has instructed the preparation of a comprehensive plan to control polio.
