A large rally was taken out by various student organizations at Shah Abdul Latif University to express grief over the alleged martyrdom of Supreme Leader Sayyid Ali Hosseini Khamenei and to condemn America and Israel, who were declared global terrorists.
This demonstration, held today to express solidarity with the Islamic Revolution of Iran, was led by Asgharia Students Organization (ASO) Pakistan, the School of Law, and other student groups. ASO Pakistan’s central leaders Baqar Raza and Safdar Ali were at the forefront of the procession.
A large number of students participated, who were carrying banners and placards on which the attack on the holy land of Iran was strongly condemned.
Addressing the gathering, the speakers described martyrdom as a blessing in the school of Ahl al-Bayt and the inheritance of a believer. They emphasized that resistance against oppression and aggression is the only path to freedom.
The student leaders announced that any American and Israeli desire to weaken the resistance will not be fulfilled. They stressed that thanks to the “sacred blood,” the resistance will become stronger and the oppressive forces will eventually be defeated.
The participants gave a clear message of solidarity, saying that the Pakistani nation stands shoulder to shoulder with Iran and its people in this critical hour. The international community was urged to play its role in establishing regional peace and take notice of the atrocities against the innocent.
The rally started peacefully from the university’s academic block and concluded at the main gate.
