Rally taken our against GSTA leader

LARKANA: PPP jiyalas took out a large rally from their Kennedy Market office here on Sunday against what they called the media trial of Jameel Soomro, political secretary to PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and his elder brother Munir Ahmed Soomro, a senior journalist. They marched through various vital roads while holding party flags and banners in their hands and culminated in front of the local press club at Jinnah Bagh where they also shouted slogans against Government Secondary Teachers Association (GSTA) leader G M Abro.

PPP activists Shafique Chandio, Munir Soomro, Imran Jatoi, Kamran Odhano, Anwer Ali Nawaz Luhar, Dr. Abdul Jabbar Mirjat and others said that Abro made viral audio tape of Soomro brothers on social media abusing them which has hurt the workers of the PPP. They said that such people want to increase their stature by spreading hatred.

They said that the People’s Party has taught us discipline in our ranks and we have always demonstrated patience and conducted peaceful and pure politics in Larkana, which is not being tolerated by some malicious elements and they want to spread chaos by spreading such propaganda.

Therefore, they added, we would like to tell the evil Abro through this protest that within a week, he should publicly apologize to Jameel Ahmed Soomro and his brother, Munir Ahmed Soomro, in front of the press club at Jinnah Bagh, otherwise, they would besiege Abro and he will not find a place to hide. They also urged higher authorities to take notice and strict action against him to end unrest among the activists.
