Pakistan women’s team batter Ayesha Zafar has spoken about her return to the national setup for the forthcoming tour of South Africa, following a recall after last appearing for the country in May 2024.
The top-order batter was the featured guest on the 71st edition of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Podcast, which was released on Monday and made available for download. During the programme, Zafar reflected on her experiences over an 11-year career and shared insights into her methods for handling pressure at the international level.
Zafar, who has been named in both the One-Day International and T20 International squads for the South Africa series, made her international debut against the West Indies in October 2015.
Her last international matches were during Pakistan”s tour of England nearly two years ago. To date, the experienced cricketer has represented Pakistan in 32 WODIs and 26 WT20Is.
