Rehabilitation centre set up in Quetta to treat drug addicts

QUETTA: Rehabilitation centre under the aegis of Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) Balochistan has been set up in the provincial capital to treat drug addicts, said a statement issued by the spokesman for ANF Balochistan on Friday.

The spokesman said that 45-bedded-rehabilitation centre has been operationalised at Baleli Road area of Quetta for the treatment and rehabilitation of drug addicts.

The centre, equipped with all modern facilities, would provide standard healthcare facilities to the drug addicts, he said and added that professional doctors, psychologists and para medical staff had been posted in the rehabilitation centre to provide free of cost treatment facilities to drug addicts during period of rehabilitation spanning over 45 days.

The spokesman said that ANF was committed to thwarting smuggling of drugs besides rendering rehabilitation services.
