Rich tributes paid to Burhan Muzaffar Wani in IOK

Srinagar, July 06, 2018 (PPI-OT): Indian troops had martyred Burhan Wani along with his two associates in Kokernag area of Islamabad district on July 8, 2016. Burhan’s martyrdom had triggered mass uprising against the Indian occupation in Kashmir and the men in uniform had killed over 120 civilians to suppress the uprising.

Hurriyat leaders, Hilal Ahmad War, Javaid Ahmad Mir and Umar Aadil Dar today visited Tral and expressed solidarity and sympathy with the families of the martyred youth. Paying rich tributes to Burhan Wani, Sabzar Butt, Abid Hussain Khan, Ashfaq Ahmad Khan and other martyrs, they visited the martyrs’ graveyards and also the residence of the martyred youth to express solidarity with their families. Speaking on the occasion, they reaffirmed the Kashmiris’ resolve to take the mission of their martyrs to its logical end.

Hurriyat leader, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, addressing a gathering in Shangus area of Islamabad and Imtiaz Ahmad Reshi in a statement in Srinagar paying homage to Burhan Wani and other martyrs said that the people of Kashmir had rendered countless sacrifices for the Kashmir cause which would not be allowed to go waste.

Hurriyat leader, Zafar Akbar Butt in his statement in Srinagar paid glowing tributes to Burhan Wani and his associates on the eve of their second anniversary and said that their sacrifices would not be allowed to go waste. The illegally detained Hurriyat leader, Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori in a statement issued in Srinagar paid glowing tributes to Burhan Wani and said that the Kashmiris would accomplish the mission of their martyrs at all costs.

The spokesman of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) in a statement in Srinagar terming Shaheed Burhan Muzaffar Wani as the pride of Kashmir and the founder of new age resistance paid glowing tributes to him and all those martyred in 2016 uprising.
