’Rising inflation has ‘eclipsed Eid’s joys’ for the common man’: Pasban Democratic Party

Pasban Democratic Party Karachi chief Abdul Hakim Quaid has said that government policies and rampant inflation have “eclipsed the joys of Eid,” stressing that unemployment and economic hardships have severely affected the life of the common citizen.

Speaking at a ration distribution ceremony in North Karachi today, Quaid said that mounting economic difficulties have eroded the public’s purchasing power, leaving thousands of families unable to afford basic necessities.

He demanded that the government provide immediate relief to the public and take practical steps to reduce inflation, so that the common man can “breathe a sigh of relief.”

In light of these circumstances, Quaid emphasized that it is the responsibility of affluent members of society and welfare organizations to come forward and help those in need.

At the event organized by the Pasban Democratic Party, party leaders and workers distributed food items to deserving families ahead of the religious festival.

Quaid described Ramadan as a month of blessings and said that helping the deserving during this period is a great virtue, adding that his party considers public service a fundamental objective of its politics.

He expressed the resolve that Pasban will continue to raise its voice at every level to address the issues faced by the city’s poor and middle-class residents.

Citizens present at the ceremony praised the initiative, stating that such welfare measures provide significant relief for families going through difficult times. The event concluded with party leaders expressing their commitment to continue their public service and social welfare programs in the future.
