ISLAMABAD: Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani on Sunday set up a special committee to investigate into the allegations levelled by PTI Senator Azam Swati regarding a leaked video.
The Senate chairman formed a 14-member special committee which will look into the accusations levelled by Senator Swati during his press conference yesterday. During his presser, emotional Swati broke down and requested Sanjrani to look into his allegations.
The committee members are included: Azam Nazeer Tarar, Mohsin Aziz, Yousuf Raza Gilani, Ghafoor Haidri, Anwarul Haq Kakar, Faisal Sabzwari, Tahir Bizenjo, Shafeeq Tareen, Senator Mushtaq, Senator Qasim, Muzaffar Shah, Hadayat Ullah, Kamil Agha, and Dilawar Khan.
The committee members will decide by themselves who will be their convener. The special committee has been directed to present its report within three days. The committee will investigate all aspects of the alleged leak video of Swati.
