Naushahro Feroze witnessed a tragic suicide and a mysterious disappearance, both possibly linked to harassment by loan sharks. A school teacher from Karondi, Arshad Shar, jumped into the Nusrat Canal near the Bhrya Road police station, ending his life. His body was later recovered near Chahin Mainomal with the help of family and divers.

In another incident, the belongings of police constable Nadeem Rajper, including his uniform, shoes, and a letter, were found near the Rohri Canal within the jurisdiction of the Mehrpur police station, suggesting a possible suicide. Reports indicate that the constable had borrowed money from a financial institution and several individuals. His mobile phone location data reveals movement in Nawabshah and other areas. Law enforcement agencies are investigating both incidents.

Two robberies in Naushahro Feroze also shook the citizens, causing significant financial losses to the victims. Near the Naushahro Feroze police station, thieves robbed trader Seth Muhammad Dingraj of three lakh rupees. In another incident, near Dolat Khan Janwari village, within the jurisdiction of the Bhrya City police station, armed robbers snatched two lakh rupees, a motorcycle, and a mobile phone from Rashid Ali Janwari. The affected individuals expressed their grief and appealed to Naushahro Feroze’s SSP to control the rising crime.
