The Meteorological Department’s Quetta Regional Center has projected that Balochistan will continue to experience hot and dry weather over the coming days, with areas such as Sibbi, Dera Bughti, and Kohlu expected to face extremely high temperatures. Gusty and dusty winds are anticipated to sweep through the central and northern regions within the next 24 to 48 hours, intensifying the challenging weather conditions.

The forecast extends the current hot spell, highlighting that the intense heat will persist in other areas including Kachi, Naseer Abad, Kech, and Labella. Over the past 24 hours, Sibbi recorded the highest temperature at 46.5°C, followed by Turbat at 42.0°C. Meanwhile, Quetta remained cooler in comparison, with temperatures ranging from 12.5°C to 32.0°C.

Meteorologists caution residents to stay alert as temperatures in some regions are expected to remain high, urging the public to take necessary precautions against the heat and dust-laden winds.
