Security Scrutinised at islamabad Pickets Amidst High Alert Directives

The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) for Investigations, Muhammad Usman Tariq Butt, has personally inspected various police pickets and duty points across the federal capital, ordering a comprehensive review of existing security protocols to enhance the protection of citizens.

According to Islamabad police’s information on Sunday, the inspections were conducted in line with special directives from the Inspector General of Police (IGP) for Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, as part of a wider initiative to implement robust security measures throughout the city.

During his tour, SSP Butt instructed deployed officers and personnel to make the screening process for individuals and vehicles more effective and purposeful. He stressed the need for constant vigilance and mandated the immediate reporting of any suspicious activity to senior command.

The senior officer also underscored the importance of professional conduct, directing staff to interact with the public in a polite and respectful manner to foster greater trust between citizens and the police force.

Reaffirming that the safeguarding of residents” lives and property remains the foremost priority for Islamabad Police, officials have also appealed to the public for their full cooperation.

Citizens are encouraged to report any questionable individuals or activities to their nearest police station or through the “Pucar-15” helpline.
