Seminar held at Khairpur High School by the Asian Bank under the Education Improvement Project

Speakers at a workshop held by the Asian Bank under the Education Improvement Project said that national development depends on educational reforms, and stressed united efforts from all segments of society to tackle the challenges facing secondary education in the modern era of science and technology.

This demand was made during a one-day seminar held today at the Government N Saint Theresa High School, organized by the Asian Development Bank under its Sindh Secondary Education Improvement Project.

According to the speakers, the purpose of the event was to create awareness and to obtain practical suggestions from relevant individuals to formulate better strategies for the education system. The insights gained are intended to help in raising the standard of secondary education across the province.

The participants described the collaboration with the Asian Development Bank as a significant and exemplary step towards achieving these important reforms.

The headmaster of the host institution, Aftab Memon, welcomed the attendees and thanked them for their participation in this important dialogue.

Several education officials attended the event, including Assistant Education Officer Khairpur Atiq-ur-Rehman Memon, TEO Khairpur Mukhtiar Ahmed Solangi, and Focal Person DEO Secondary Khairpur Madam Huma Rizwan.

Additionally, representatives from media and civil society such as Deputy General Secretary of Khairpur Press Club Shahid Nawaz Sial, educationist Abdul Razzaq Memon, and journalist Farhan Maitlo, along with other distinguished guests including Ayaz Sandhilo and Madam Momal, also participated.
