Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senator Barrister Syed Ali Zafar strongly opposed the decision to disqualify Imran Khan as illegal.
According to a report on Sunday, the Senator addressed the Asma Jahangir Conference in Lahore and stressed all bars to put their political affiliation aside and oppose illegal decisions. Senator Ali Zafar said by freeing the media during the Musharraf era, the judges were brought to suo moto with the hope of gaining fame. He said the judiciary alone cannot do anything against martial law, civil society, parliament, and judiciary have to play their role together.
