Seven outlaws held fake currency and wine recovered

Islamabad, July 27, 2018 (PPI-OT): Islamabad Police on Friday arrested seven outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered a fake currency, wine and weapon from them, a police spokesman said. Following directions of Senior Superintendent of Police (Operations) Najeeb ur Rehman Bugvi, he said that efforts were accelerated to arrest those involved in drug peddling activities.

He said that ASI Turab-Ul-Hassan from Aabpara police recovered one 30 bore illicit pistol from the possession of arrested accused Usman Abbas. Sub-Inspector Muhammad Nawaz from Karachi Company police arrested accuses Qasim Israr and recovered fake currency from him. Sub-Inspector Muhammad Hanif from Industrial Area police arrested accuses Farhman Ali and recovered one 30 bore illicit pistol from him.

ASI Moman Khan from Shehzad Town police arrested accused Nabeel Ahmed and recovered one wine bottle from him. ASI Jahangir from Nilor police arrested accuses Qamer involved in bike theft. ASI Qasim Zia from Sihala Police arrested 2 accused Umair and Madsood and recovered 10 litre wine from their possession.

Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them. SSP Islamabad Najeeb-ur-Rehman Bugvi has appreciated this performance and directed all police officials for effective policing measures in their areas to curb activities of anti-social elements.
