The Meteorological Department has predicted a thick blanket of fog will prevail in the plains of Punjab, upper Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while a severe cold wave will persist in the mountainous areas of the country.
The Meteorological Department indicated on Tuesday that the weather will remain cold and dry in most parts of the country.
In particular, severe cold is expected in high-altitude and mountainous regions.
This weather advisory was issued after morning temperatures were recorded in several cities.
