Shabbir Shah Expresses Gratitude to Pakistan for Kashmir Support


Srinagar: Jailed senior leader of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference and Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, has publicly expressed his gratitude to the government and people of Pakistan for their support of the people in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.



According to a statement by Kashmir Media Service, Shabbir Ahmed Shah conveyed his appreciation from Delhi’s Tihar Jail, commending Pakistan’s steadfast support for Kashmiris’ right to self-determination. He highlighted the significance of Kashmir Solidarity Day as evidence of Pakistan’s consistent policy and dedication to the Kashmir cause.



The Kashmiri leader emphasized the indebtedness of the occupied region’s people to Pakistan’s ongoing support. He acknowledged Pakistan’s role in advocating for the Kashmir cause on both regional and international stages, and in providing support for the liberation movement.



Shabbir Ahmed Shah also expressed his prayers for peace and prosperity in Pakistan, noting that the solidarity shown by Pakistan provides strength to Kashmiris in their pursuit of justice and freedom.
