The Pakistan Cricket Board has unveiled the three Shaheens squads set to participate in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 warm-up matches, ahead of the main event scheduled from 19 February to 9 March.
According to a statement by Pakistan Cricket Board, Shadab Khan will captain the Pakistan Shaheens against Afghanistan on 14 February at Gaddafi Stadium, with Mansoor Amjad taking on the role of coach-cum-manager. For the 17 February encounter against South Africa at National Stadium, Mohammad Hurraira will lead the team alongside coach-cum-manager Ijaz Ahmed Junior.
On the same day in Dubai, Pakistan Shaheens will play against Bangladesh, with Mohammad Haris as captain and Umar Gul as coach-cum-manager. The squads for each match are meticulously chosen to ensure competitive performances.
The schedule for the Shaheens matches includes a clash with Afghanistan at Gaddafi Stadium on 14 February and simultaneous games against South Africa in Karachi and Bangladesh in Dubai on 17 February. The matches are part of the preparations for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy.
