Shall go to any extent to support people of Kashmir: Army Chief

Islamabad, August 06, 2019 (PPI-OT): Pakistan’s Army Chief, General Qamar Javed Bajwa, has said that the military will go to any extent to support the people of Kashmir, as New Delhi revoked special autonomous status for occupied Kashmir.

Pakistan Army’s Corps Commanders’ Conference was held at General Head Quarters in Rawalpindi on Tuesday. The conference, presided over by Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa, discussed single point agenda of situation regarding occupied Kashmir.
The forum fully supported Government’s rejection of Indian actions regarding Kashmir. “Pakistan never recognised the sham Indian efforts to legalise its occupation of Jammu and Kashmir through Article 370 or 35-A decades ago; efforts which have now been revoked by India itself,” it said.

The Army Chief affirmed that Pakistan Army firmly stands by the Kashmiris in their just struggle to the very end. He said, we are prepared and shall go to any extent to fulfill our obligations in this regard.
